Be Traced Supports Rally degli Abeti, Valle Intelvi and the Debut of Sardegna Rally Raid

Brescia, May 14, 2025 – It’s mid-May, the weather is heating up, and the Be Traced team is ready for another intense motorsport weekend. This time, we’ll be supporting the organizers at three different events. The journey begins on Friday, May 16, with the Sardegna Rally Raid. Then, over the weekend of May 17–18, our technology will also be active at the Rally degli Abeti e dell’Abetone and the Rally della Valle Intelvi.

Sardegna Rally Raid: A Debut Worth Watching

We start the weekend in northern Sardinia, surrounded by forests, hills, coastlines, and, of course, roads that are anything but paved. This is the very first edition of the event—and it’s already sold out in the motorcycle category with 300 registered riders.

As for the four-wheel division, Be Traced will be supporting a range of notable names in the Italian Cross-Country scene, many of whom we’ve already assisted during the Artugna Race. In addition to off-road vehicles, we’ll also be working with two types of medium-regularity races: one for amateurs and road cars (set at 35 km/h average speed), and one more akin to Dakar Classic formats (60 km/h).

The coastal town of Alghero will serve as the nerve center for this multi-day event, with 200+ km of driving each day. The exact route remains a secret, building even more anticipation for an electrifying debut. For Be Traced, there’s no doubt—this event is set to become a major highlight of the Italian Cross-Country calendar. The rally also counts towards the Italian Motorally Raid-TT and Italian Cross Country and SSV Championships.

Rally degli Abeti e dell’Abetone: History and Innovation in Tuscany

Next stop: Tuscany. The 42nd edition of the Rally degli Abeti e dell’Abetone runs May 17–18 in Pistoia province. It's the third round of CRZ Zone 7, following Il Ciocco and Trofeo Maremma. Known as “Italy’s greenest rally,” it features 65.22 km of timed sections over a total route of 166.67 km.

This year brings a nostalgic twist: the revival of the iconic Gavinana super stage, a fan favorite from the 1990s. Renamed “Dynamo Camp,” it will kick off the rally with a single pass on Saturday. The remaining three stages will each be run twice on Sunday, with slight tweaks from previous editions to keep things fresh.

In addition to modern cars, the rally will also host historic vehicles for the 12th time, including models registered between 1991 and 2000. The event also serves as the opening round of the ACI Pistoia Provincial Championship “Memorial Roberto Misseri,” and counts for the 2025 R Italian Trophy, Michelin Trofeo Italia, and Pirelli Accademia CRZ.

Rally della Valle Intelvi: Drama in the Lombardy Hills

Our final event for the weekend brings us back to our home region of Lombardy, for the 17th Rally della Valle Intelvi, also on May 17–18. It’s the fourth round of CRZ Zone 3, featuring 5 special stages each run twice—for 10 competitive sections totaling 61.8 km, within an overall distance of 230 km.

Sticking to its roots with traditional stage layouts, one stands out: the “Lanzo” stage, which has been reimagined for 2025. A new highlight is the “donut” roundabout maneuver—an homage to WRC-style showmanship—adding extra flair, especially during the evening second pass.

Organized by ACI Como, in collaboration with Valle Intelvi Corse and ASD Rally dei Laghi, the rally will count for several key trophies: the R Italian Trophy, Michelin Trofeo Italia, Pirelli Accademia CRZ, and the Rally Cup – Trofeo delle Province Lombarde, reserved for drivers from the Lombardy region.

From Sardinia to central Italy and back to our home base in the north, Be Traced’s solutions will once again be at the heart of race direction, assisting organizers and officials to ensure safe and efficient event execution. No matter the terrain, we’ll be there—delivering the reliability and precision that define our name in the world of motorsport tracking and safety.

Enjoy the Race!
