Brescia, May 5, 2025 – After a packed weekend with no less than four rally events and the beginning of a brand-new partnership in the regularity world, Be Traced isn’t slowing down. The next race weekend kicks off on May 10 in Sanremo with the Rally delle Palme—but not before making a stop at the oldest motorsport competition in the world and a true symbol of Italian excellence: the legendary Targa Florio Rally.
The Rally Targa Florio
Organized by the Automobile Club d’Italia and the Automobile Club Palermo, with support from the Sicilian Region, the 2025 edition of Targa Florio will be headquartered at the University of Palermo. That’s where all the action begins, with scrutineering, the service park, and the race direction—where you’ll also find us from Be Traced. This iconic rally will offer a unique opportunity to the university community, giving students and staff a rare behind-the-scenes experience of a top-tier motorsport event.
The event starting cerimony will take place on Thursday, May 8, in front of the majestic Teatro Massimo in Palermo’s stunning Piazza Verdi. From there, teams will head off into four special stages, each run three times. Historic cars, alongside modern rally machines, will take on 113.70 kilometers of timed stages within a total rally distance of 781.29 kilometers. Among the standout tests will be the classic “Targa” stage (10 km), the “Campofelice – Collesano” (12.60 km), and the “Scillato” stage (13.15 km), with the short but punchy “La Generosa” (2.25 km) wrapping things up.
As the third round of the CIAR Sparco championship—following Il Ciocco and Rally Alba—Targa Florio promises big thrills and high entertainment value for fans. And of course, once again, our tracking and safety tech will be right at the heart of it all, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely.
The Rally delle Palme
Hot on the heels of Targa Florio, we’ll be switching gears for the 26th Rally delle Palme in Sanremo. From May 10–11, this scenic event will take drivers—and our devices—through the winding roads of the Ligurian coast. With 60.46 kilometers of timed stages across six specials and 232.423 km total distance including liaison sections, it’s set to be a thrilling ride.
This event will serve as the second round of the CRZ 2 championship but also counts towards several trophies: the Michelin Trofeo Italia-Regional, the Pirelli Accademia CRZ Trophy, and the R-Italian Trophy.
Rally HQ will be set up in the elegant Palazzo del Parco on Via 1 Maggio, which will also host the pre-race admin checks continuing into the morning of Saturday, May 10. Technical checks will run from May 9–10 in Piazzale Zaccari, leading up to the waving of the Italian Tricolore at 4:00 PM on Saturday.
While this weekend might not be as stacked as the previous one, the Be Traced team and our devices are not taking it easy. With our trademark accuracy and reliability, we’ll be there alongside the race directors, once again raising the bar in terms of safety and organization for everyone involved. The national rally scene is heating up—and so are we.
Enjoy the race!
