Brescia, March 7th, 2022 - A route that will cross the beauties of Italy, Austria and Switzerland. The 2022 edition of Coppa delle Alpi, the second edition of the winter regularity race for historic cars organized by 1000 Miglia Srl, is the first event that opens the Campionato Italiano Grandi Eventi.

The race, that will go on stage from 9th to 12th March starting from Brescia, the capital city of 1000 Miglia and the place where the technical and sporting checks will take place, is made up of 4 stages.

The first one will lead the crews to Brescia mountains around Lake Iseo, a destination that they will leave in the evening to return to Brescia for the dinner at Museo Mille Miglia.

The next day the cars will move in the direction of Lake Garda towards the Parco Naturale dell’Adamello-Brenta and, along the roads of the Val di Sole, they will arrive at Passo del Tonale. From here, they will continue towards Passo dell’Aprica and they will finish the second stage in Bormio.

During the third stage on Friday across the border, the crews will enjoy some of the most evocative landscapes of Switzerland and Austria: in the morning they will arrive in St. Moritz, then they will continue the march through Passo del Bernina and Passo Resia and they will conclude the stage in Seefeld in Tirol.

On the fourth and final day, the convoy of historic cars will arrive in Bressanone, the last destination to be reached and the place where the final awards ceremony will take place.

A mix of breathtaking landscapes and a lot of adrenaline and competition for an event like Coppa delle Alpi, a regularity race characterized by many kilometers and challenges, including: 11 time checks, 5 stamp checks, 70 time trials and 10 regularity tests.

Be Traced, with its telematic platform and GPS devices, will contribute by tracking in real time all the vehicles involved which will be visible on the map, each one represented by an identification marker that reports information about position, direction and speed.

It will be possible for the Race Direction to identify and intervene immediately in case of unforeseen events, to interact with the competitors who are stopped along the route or require assistance through the SOS button which the devices are equipped with and to analyze for each crew the road traveled in certain points of the race track.

Thanks to the timing service provided by Be Traced, it will be possible to detect detailed information about the passage of the crews on the regularity tests sections, for the analysis of the data and the attribution of the averages carried out by Federazione Italiana Cronometristi.

As usual, Be Traced will make available to the organizers and spectators the access to the customized public interface dedicated to the event, so it will be possible to remotely follow the Coppa delle Alpi for the first time LIVE from the route, via any device, PC, Tablet and Smartphone.
