Artugna Race: Be Traced collaborates with the Italian Baja organization with its technologies

The 12th springtime Italian Baja will rely on Be Traced for the tracking of the crews

Pordenone, March 9th 2022 -Organized by the Off-road Club 4x4 Pordenone headed by Mauro Tavella, the Artugna Race opens the calendar of races valid for the 2022 season of the Italian Cross Country Rally Championship (ACI Sport) and the Italian SSV Drivers and Constructors Championship.


According to the program, on Friday 11 March there will be the technical checks and the briefing of the Race Direction, then the following day, Saturday 12 March, the departure at 8.15 am from the Interporto Centro Ingrosso Pordenone with a selective sector of 28.87 km to be repeated four times. After the first two steps, the only service park planned at the Centro Ingrosso Freight Center in Pordenone, home to the headquarters and place of the departure and arrival ceremonies.


In support of the Off-road Club 4x4 Pordenone, the IOT solution delevoped by Be Traced: during the technical checks all the vehicles, both crews and staff, will be equipped with tracking devices and it will be available for the Race Direction the Web platform for real-time tracking. Thanks to the immediate data acquisition occurring once a second, it will be possible to monitor all the vehicles from the dedicated interface, to view in real time where they are positioned along the track, in which direction they are moving and at what speed.

Many features are available, including: speed check, alarms and notifications receipt from competitors, historical display of the routes and detailed reports.


A service that will make a great contribution to coordinate the event itself and to manage all those involved and a tool of great support especially in terms of safety: each device is in fact equipped with an SOS button which, once pressed to report any emergencies, sends an immediate notification to the platform and to the Race Direction who will be able to timely intervene.

To promote the widest participation of the public, there will be available the public interface dedicated to the event, which will allow anyone who passionately follows the race to view every moment by connecting remotely from any device, Smartphone, PC, Tablet, to the dedicated link:



Off-road Club 4×4 Pordenone was born in 1983 by a group of enthusiasts, the Off-road Club 4×4 Pordenone, after a first pioneering phase, made up of rallies, Jamboree and short non-competitive tests, in '91 passed to the organization of the “1st Raid del Friuli 4×4”, which became “Italian Baja” in '93.


Italian Baja International Artugna Race is the first race of the Italian Cross Country Championship and of the Italian SSV, which divides into separate rankings the off-road vehicles with T1 (prototypes) and T2 (derived from the series) preparation, and the “side by side vehicles” with preparation T3 (prototypes) and T4 (derived from the series). The latter are the light tubulars that have relaunched the specialty thanks to exciting and spectacular performances, combined with low running costs.


Be Traced is the innovative technological platform dedicated to all road car and motorcycle racing. It is an advanced and flexible solution equipped with all the tools for real-time monitoring of the race and competitors, as well as telemetry and timing.
