Rally
Rally racing is a timed race on roads closed to traffic, where the competitor who completes the course in the shortest time wins.
In their best-known format, rallies take place on dirt roads, characterized by bumps, potholes, sharp turns, and sometimes even jumps.
The timed sections are called Special Stages and only a few cars pass through them at a time.
Rally events unfold at extremely high speeds, and due to the demanding nature of the routes, accidents are not uncommon. For this reason, ensuring the safety of everyone involved has always been a top priority in event planning.
Having a comprehensive, easy-to-manage and constantly updated overview throughout the event becomes crucial. In addition, it is also important to maintain stable communication between Race Direction and crews in Special Stages to facilitate emergency reporting.

BR001
BR001 is the most advanced device when it comes to tenth-of-a-second GPS tracking of competitors during races.
With several purpose-build views, it can promptly provide the crews with all necessary information.
It is not a common GPS: from SOS request to vehicle-to-vehicle communication, from automatic accident detection to red flag; BR001 is programmed specifically for rally races.
Even in the absence of signal
Thanks to compatibility with the IRIDIUM satellite network, BR001 works even in remote areas where there is not LTE signalsending the position update every 120 seconds.
