Brescia, May 13, 2026 – The second round of the CIAR Sparco heads to Sicily for the 110th edition of the Rally Targa Florio, a landmark anniversary with a strong focus on young competitors. At the same time, action unfolds in Pistoia for the Rally degli Abeti e dell’Abetone, featuring an important new stage and promising a weekend defined not only by competition, but also by innovation and community spirit.

Rally Targa Florio

The second round of the Italian Absolute Rally Championship Sparco is just around the corner, with the province of Palermo preparing to host the 110th Rally Targa Florio. Scheduled from May 14 to 16, the event opens at 20:00 with the traditional starting ceremony in Piazza Verdi, in front of the Teatro Massimo in Palermo.

The Be Traced team will already be active from the previous day, supporting technical and sporting scrutineering held at the Museum of Engines and Mechanisms of the University of Palermo. The university once again confirms its role as a key partner of the event, which this year places strong emphasis on young drivers, also becoming the opening round of the 2026 Italian Junior Rally Championship, reserved for six under-28 competitors truly driven by rally passion.

The program includes 10 Special Stages, spread over two days, for a total of 141 competitive kilometers for the CIAR. The historic category (CIRAS) covers 168 km, while the CRZ category, for which the Targa Florio is the second round of Zone 9 (coefficient 1.5), features 69 km across five Special Stages, all concentrated on Friday.

Rally degli Abeti e dell’Abetone

From May 16 to 17, action also takes place in the province of Pistoia, Tuscany, for the 43rd Rally degli Abeti e dell’Abetone, alongside the 13th edition of its historic counterpart. A key event in the Tuscan rally scene, the 2026 edition introduces a brand-new Special Stage opening the race weekend.

Valid as the third round of CRZ Zone 7, the event features 72 competitive kilometers across seven Special Stages spread over two days. Saturday hosts the opening two runs on the new “Dynamo Camp” stage, a major highlight of the 43rd edition. Sunday features the remaining five stages, including two passes on “Melo” and three on “Torri di Popiglio”.

Alongside the sporting action, a wide range of initiatives will transform the weekend into more than just a race, turning it into a true community event. The Rally Village in San Marcello will host a driving safety course, a fashion show, and a dedicated area for local businesses, offering an important showcase for regional excellence.

The Be Traced team will once again support both events, ensuring enhanced safety on stage and during operations, along with streamlined management for two rallies of major importance to their respective territories.

Enjoy the Race!
