Brescia, May 28, 2025 ā We are heading into what is likely to be the busiest racing weekend of the season: five rallies and a brand-new partnership in the regularity scene. Six events, over 1300 km of live tracking, all in just three days.
Rally 2 Valli
Following our new collaboration with the Mitteleuropean Race ā which will keep us busy from Thursday to Saturday with the Superclassic regularity event ā itās now time to talk about rallies. Our racing weekend kicks off in style on May 29 with nothing less than the fourth round of the CIAR Sparco: the 43rd Rally 2 Valli.
The 2025 edition of Rally 2 Valli brings some major changes compared to previous years. First and foremost, the return of the Coppa Rally di Zona 4 (CRZ) as a separate race from CIAR, though they will share the same Special Stages (albeit with slightly different distances). Organized by Automobile Club Verona and ACI Verona Sport, the event starts on Friday, May 30, with the Power Stage "Alcenago ā Up Rent", which will also serve as the shakedown.
Friday also features the most challenging stage of the rally, a strong contender for the CIARās longest: āErbezzo ā Tomasi Autoā, measuring 27.89 km. On Saturday, May 31, the remaining stages will be held, including āS. Francesco ā Wingammā, returning after a long absence since 2002. For the CRZ, the stages remain the same, with only minor changes to start or finish points.
In terms of numbers, the CIAR Sparco race includes 105 timed km out of 416 total, while the CRZ covers 65 timed km out of 278. Both share the same eight Special Stages.
Valsugana Historic Rally
The historic rally of Valsugana takes place on Friday, May 30, and Saturday, May 31. Friday is dedicated to administrative checks (2:30ā6:30 p.m. at the Borgo Valsugana Town Hall) and technical scrutineering (in Piazza De Gasperi). Rally headquarters and race control will be hosted at the local municipality, with the press room located at the Tourist Promotion Agency office.
The rally will officially start on Saturday, May 31, at 8:30 a.m. from the Ponte Veneziano on Via Peruzzo. Crews will return to the same point in the evening before the awards ceremony at 8:30 p.m. in Piazza De Gasperi.
The route includes six Special Stages (three stages, each repeated twice), for 93.20 timed km over a total of 252.02 km. There will be two regrouping points on Via Roma and a service park in the industrial area of Borgo Valsugana.
Rally dei Nebrodi
From Valsugana, we head south to the Nebrodi Mountains in Sicily for the 25th edition of the Rally dei Nebrodi, which includes both modern and historic cars. Valid as the third round of CRZ 9, the event winds through the scenic landscapes of Messina province.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Rally dei Nebrodi continues to be a key fixture in the national and southern Italian rally scene. This year, 111 crews are registered: 100 for the modern rally and 11 for the historic, confirming the high level of interest around the event.
On Saturday morning, May 31, administrative and technical checks will be held along with the shakedown. The official start is scheduled for the afternoon, featuring two runs of the iconic āRaccujaā Special Stage, a staple in the Sicilian rally landscape. On Sunday, June 1, the event will reach its peak with three passes over the remaining two stages, bringing the total timed distance to 60 km out of 269 overall.
Rally Il Grappolo
Organized by the San Damiano Rally Club and valid as the third round of CRZ 2, Rally Il Grappolo brings us a sense of dĆ©jĆ vu ā we supported its historic car edition just two months ago in March.
From May 31 to June 1, the modern car edition will take place, with 100 crews already registered.
The event will officially kick off at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, from the central Piazza LibertĆ in San Damiano dāAsti. The modern rally features three Special Stages, each repeated twice, totaling over 72 km of timed racing. A highly anticipated highlight is the return of the CastagnoleāCostigliole stage, which will open the rally at 6:10 p.m. on Saturday, with a second pass scheduled just before 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
The rally will conclude with the final stages and the awards ceremony on Sunday afternoon in Piazza LibertĆ .
Rally Coppa Camuna
Last but not least, weāll be supporting a home event this weekend: the 11th edition of Rally Coppa Camuna in Valcamonica.
The spa town of Darfo Boario Terme, nestled in the Brescia mountains, will host the event on Saturday and Sunday, with over 90 crews entered. This yearās rally features six Special Stages ā two passes each on āSisem-Astrioā, āVal Palotā and āDeria-Trofeo Tommyā ā for a total of 68 timed km out of 302.
The event counts for CRZ 3 and returns with a new name after ten years as āCamunia Rally.ā Crews will depart from Breno toward the first two Sisem-Astrio stages, running through the evening. On Sunday, the remaining stages will be held, followed by the awards ceremony, also in Breno.
As always, we will be supporting Race Control and the event organizers with our GPS tracking solutions, which play a key role in ensuring crew safety and efficient race management.
