Brescia, August 5th, 2026 – The night between Saturday, August 8th and Sunday, August 9th will be entirely dedicated to motorsport as the Rally Tirreno Messina returns with its distinctive format. True to tradition, this is one of the very few rallies contested exclusively after dark.
A night of rallying
After hosting the final round of the 2025 Zone Rally Cup, the 23rd Rally Tirreno Messina is ready to return to action. The event gets underway shortly after 11:00 pm on Saturday, August 8th, with a unique format that perfectly matches its 1.5 championship coefficient, as the fifth round of the Zone Rally Cup – Zone 9.
The rally features nine Special Stages, all taking place during the night. Competition begins just after midnight with SS1 "San Rizzo", followed by SS2 "Roccavaldina" and SS3 "Rometta". Each stage will be run three times before the event concludes on Sunday morning, after 64.17 competitive kilometres.
Its all-night format, enhanced championship coefficient, and long-standing history have made the Rally Tirreno Messina one of the most anticipated events on the regional calendar. Alongside the modern rally, the Historic Rally will once again add to the atmosphere, bringing back the unmistakable charm of classic night-time rallying.
