Brescia, 25 March 2026 - The final weekend of March sees us on track for the opening round of the Campionato Italiano Assoluto Rally Sparco, alongside a double rally and regularity event at the Grappolo Storico, and the second round of the Italian Major Events Championship with the Coppa Milano–Sanremo.

Alongside our tracking services, two brand new Be Traced solutions will also make their debut.

Rally Il Ciocco & Valle del Serchio

As tradition dictates, the CIAR season opener takes place this weekend at the Rally Il Ciocco & Valle del Serchio.

With its 50th anniversary just around the corner, the event counts over 100 entries. The action kicks off on Saturday 28 March from Viareggio, set against the stunning seafront backdrop. Competitive distance reaches 142 km, with five special stages scheduled for Saturday and eight for Sunday.

Once again, Il Ciocco features a double title: alongside the CIAR, the Coppa Rally di Zona 7 also gets underway, with 62 competitive kilometres across five stages, all run on Saturday.

The 49th edition also marks a major comeback. For the first time in CIAR Sparco, Lancia returns to competition with the Ypsilon Rally2, a highlight moment for both fans and nostalgic enthusiasts alike.

Rally Il Grappolo Storico

The second rally event of the weekend is the Rally Il Grappolo Storico. San Damiano d’Asti once again hosts both the start and finish, for the speed rally as well as the regularity event dedicated to historic cars and “Classic” vehicles built between 1993 and 2000.

Once again, San Damiano Rally Club promises a technical and exciting route, with seven timed stages covering 75 competitive kilometres for both categories.

Coppa Milano–Sanremo

Staying in the world of regularity, we move to the second round of the Campionato Italiano Grandi Eventi (CIGE). After the Coppa delle Alpi in Engadin, we head to Liguria for the Coppa Milano–Sanremo, which this year celebrates a remarkable 120th anniversary, supported by Be Traced for the sixth consecutive year.

As tradition dictates, the event starts from the “Temple of Speed”, the Monza circuit. The original route covered 310 km from Milan to the Ligurian Riviera, finishing in Sanremo. Today, those same roads have evolved, but to mark this important milestone, crews will follow the very same route traced by competitors over a century ago.

As always, it’s a route that blends technical challenge with breathtaking scenery, perfectly fitting for a championship level event.

New highlights for Be Traced

Alongside rally and regularity events, Be Traced introduces two important new features this weekend. For competitors at Il Ciocco and Il Grappolo, completing the BR001 device certification course will be mandatory. The course is available free of charge on our new e-learning platform at https://elearning.betraced.com, in both Italian and English.

At the Coppa Milano–Sanremo, Be Traced once again joins as an official partner, not only providing tracking and average speed timekeeping services, but also supplying the official roadbooks.

As in previous editions, the public tracking platform will be available at: https://live.betraced.it

Enjoy the Race!
