Coppa Milano Sanremo 2021: Argo Racing for the first time alongside the organization

The collaboration between Argo Racing and Equipe Grand Prix is confirmed for the 12th Coppa Milano Sanremo Re-enactment from May 6-8

Brescia, May 4, 2021 - The Autodromo di Monza will be the first destination that the crews must reach on Thursday, May 6, the meeting point where technical and sporting scrutineering will be held and where the most enthusiastic competitors will be able to warm up the engines of the cars by driving around the circuit freely, before proceeding in the direction of Milan for the inaugural parade.

The Race

The official start will be on Friday, May 7. Crews will pass through the beautiful natural scenery of the Langhe to arrive in Rapallo in the evening. The following day, Saturday, May 8, the route will include passing through Piazza De Ferrari in Genoa with a final destination of Sanremo, where the traditional parade will take place and where the awards ceremony will take place.

The 75 registered crews will travel a 700-kilometer route through three regions of Italy, Lombardy, Piedmont and Liguria.

The "most charming race in Italy" maintains its high competitive spirit again this year: along the route in fact, classic cars, cars built from 1906 to 1990 are admitted to the event, will face very challenging tracks and tests.

Argo Racing among the partners

As Race Partner, Argo Racing will be responsible for the real-time tracking of all vehicles involved. Both competitors' cars and service cars will be equipped with the GPS device, which is equipped with a button to be pressed in case of technical or medical necessity, and which acquires data per second and transmits it to the telematics platform.

Consultation of the platform by the organizers and Race Director will enable them to monitor all aspects of the event, view the location of individual vehicles on a map, and take immediate action in case of requests for assistance.

The Argo Racing solution will also have the essential role of capturing individual vehicle passage times on media tests.
