Monte Carlo, October 3, 2019 - Argo Racing is the technology partner of the inaugural edition of Drivin' with Nico Rosberg, the exclusive event scheduled for Oct. 6-9 in the picturesque setting of the French Riviera.
The Tender Format
Three days together with a limited number of crews with whom the Formula 1 World Champion, will share his passion for the beauty and elegance of classic cars, the adrenaline rush of speed, and the latest technological developments for motoring. The program includes a thrilling track experience at the Paul Ricard circuit in Le Castellet, Provence, and a road drive along a route of curves and breathtaking scenery that from Cap Ferrat reaches Lantosque and then the Turini Pass and ends at the Principality of Monaco, retracing part of the route of the legendary Rally World Championship in Monte Carlo.
The Driving with Nico Rosberg event was created with the desire to create an opportunity to experience driving sports cars, in a safe and fun way. And to confirm the technological orientation combined with the great attention to the issue of safety, the event will make use of the contribution of the Argo Racing platform. All the cars will be equipped with the innovative Argo Racing device, much more than a simple GPS tracker: the sports management will in fact, be able to follow the event from a special Control Center where a maxi-screen will be set up that displays on a digitized map, simultaneously, all the cars on the route and the staff. At all times, it will be possible to receive detailed information on vehicle and environmental conditions. And it will also be possible to measure the performance of each car.
Argo Racing's contribution
Each crew will have the ability to instantly report situations of danger or simple need, so that any intervention actions can start in a targeted and timely manner. All members of the organization will have tablets and smartphones to access the Argo Racing Platform on the move as well.
