Brescia, June 4, 2021 - As per tradition, cars registered for the 39th Historical Re-enactment of the 1000 Miglia will depart from Viale Venezia in Brescia, but instead of heading to the Adriatic coast, they will make their way to the Tyrrhenian coast, tackling the entire race route from Brescia to Rome in a counterclockwise direction.
After the technical and sporting scrutineering that will take place from Monday, June 14, the highly anticipated departure of the first of the 375 cars will take place on Wednesday, June 16, the route will already put the crews to the test on the first day as they will have to drive through the Cisa Pass and conclude the first stage in Viareggio.
The second leg of the race will pass through Pisa and Castiglione della Pescaia and will end with dinner in the evening in Viterbo.
The following day, the restart to Rome with the traditional parade of cars in Via Veneto and the ascent north is scheduled for Friday, June 18 when the cars will continue their march to Bologna. After passing through more than 200 municipalities in Italy, the cars will reach the finish line in Brescia on Saturday, June 19.
Alongside the historic 1000 Miglia, there will be the 1000 Miglia Experience., dedicated to modern Supercars and Hypercars that will have to compete in over 70 time trials and the Ferrari Tribute 1000 Miglia, the event dedicated to modern cars.
Not only that, electric cars, registered for the 1000 Miglia Green, will also be in the spotlight along with the classic cars in this edition and will have to tackle the entire race course in electric mode.
In support of the Italian Timekeepers Federation, which will be busy marking the times of the timed trials, Argo Racing will provide the real-time tracking solution for competitors on the course and the time acquisition service on the media trials, made possible by the tracking devices installed on the cars.
A link to the public platform will be available to all fans, where the routes and locations of the individual crews involved can be viewed on a map.
