Brescia, February 26, 2025 - Another weekend of travel awaits the Be Traced solutions: this week we start in Tuscany for the Vallate Aretine rally, followed by the Rally of the Lakes, in Varese.
Vallate Aretine Historic Rally
From February 28, Be Traced returns to support Scuderia Etruria SCRL at the 15th Vallate Aretine Historic Rally, the second organized in the province of Arezzo after the Rally Valle del Tevere. Be Traced's devices will monitor competitors to the tenth of a second throughout the approximately 108 km of special stages.
Specifically, the event will begin at 2:50 p.m. on Friday 28 with the first two passes on the 7.48-km special stage "Rosina." However, the real climax of the event will be held on Saturday, March 1, with the remaining six passes on the special stages "Portole" (16.55 km) and "Rassinata" (14.55 km), both to be repeated three times. Saturday's finish is scheduled for 5:50 p.m. at Corso Roma in the heart of Arezzo.
The historic Rally of the Vallate Aretine, the first stage of the 2025 season for the CIRAS (Italian Rally Historic Car Championship), will be fully supported by Be Traced's signature IoT monitoring solutions for tracking and competitor safety, thanks to its now well-known SOS request interfaces.
Rally dei Laghi
Instead, the second rally event of the week takes us to the province of Varese, where the 33rd edition of the Rally dei Laghi will be held, the first leg of the CRZ (Coppa Rally di Zona) for the 2025 season. The 2025 edition in particular brings a breath of fresh air straight from the past: the route is "updated," with "new" special stages that had not been run for 30 years.
Already from the first day of the race, Saturday, March 1, the crews will face the first 7 km of the "Forcora," out of the rally chronicles since 1997, when there was still talk of the Lancia - Toyota rivalry; The second time trial on Saturday will instead be the classic route from Montegrino to Cugliate, on Mount Sette Termini. Again, it will be the second day of the race that will excite the most: after the "Valganna," already run in the 2024 edition, it will be the turn of an unpublished P.S. with a length of 15 km, starting from the Grantola valley floor, climbing up to Bosco Valtravaglia and then up to Sette Termini, and then continuing downhill to Cugliate.
Between throwbacks to the past and big news, Be Traced's tracking solutions will accompany competitors throughout the special stages (totaling 63 km), offering Race Direction a new set of "eyes" to monitor crews with extreme effectiveness and tenth-of-a-second accuracy.
Enjoy the race!
