Brescia, 2 September 2026 – The first weekend of September marks the return of the sporting season after the traditional summer break, and it does so with a packed schedule. Be Traced will be supporting four rally events simultaneously, with more than 300 competitive kilometres monitored to the tenth of a second.

Rally 1000 Miglia

Preparations for the 49th Rally 1000 Miglia, our “home” rally, get underway this evening. Technical and sporting scrutineering will take place tonight and tomorrow morning for the 92 crews entered, before the engines fire up on Friday morning with the Puegnago del Garda Shakedown.

The event format remains largely unchanged from last year, once again highlighting the strong connection with the Brescia area. Four Special Stages will make up the competition, covering 116 competitive kilometres. The rally counts towards the 2026 Italian Rally Challenger Championship as its fourth round, the sixth and penultimate round of the Coppa Rally di 3rd Zone, as well as the Lombardia Rally Cup.

Following the Shakedown, the opening stage will once again be “Pertiche”, featuring 26 highly technical downhill kilometres. Unlike 2025, this year the stage will be run twice, with the second pass taking place at night from 20:33, making the most of the earlier sunset at the end of summer.

After the regroup at the Montichiari Exhibition Centre, once again serving as the event headquarters, Saturday will feature the remaining three stages: SS3/6 “Bione”, SS4/7 “Marmentino” and SS5/8 “Sabbio Chiese Dall’Era Valerio”. The latter will also host the final Power Stage on its second pass. The final regroup will take place at Brescia Castle, followed by the finish ceremony at nearby Piazzale Arnaldo, one of the city’s main hubs for evening entertainment.

Be Traced supporting three more events

The home rally is not the only event on the agenda this weekend. Be Traced solutions will also be deployed simultaneously at three other rallies: Rally Città di Torino, Rally di Casciana Terme and Rally Val d’Aveto.

In Turin, the engines will fire up on Saturday, 5 September, with seven Special Stages on the schedule. Three stages will be run twice on Sunday, while SS1 “Santa Elisabetta” will take place on Saturday only, bringing the total competitive distance to just over 68 km.

The same weekend will also see the action move to Casciana Terme, where eight timed stages will be contested by modern, historic and, for the first time, classic cars. “Casciana Terme” will be run twice on Saturday, while “Montevaso” and “Santa Luce” will each be contested three times on Sunday. The rally will cover 70 competitive kilometres within a total route of 304 km.

Finally, Rally Val d’Aveto will feature seven timed sections across three Special Stages. Saturday will see three passes on “Alpicella”, while Sunday will feature two passes each on “Due Valli” and “Montebruno”. The event covers 64 competitive kilometres out of a total route of 188 km.

As the sporting season gets back into full swing, Be Traced devices will once again provide continuous tracking and enhanced safety across all Special Stages and road sections, with 381 devices deployed in support of the competing crews.

Enjoy the Race!
