Be Traced alongside the CIAR Sparco grand finale and the Italian Regional Rally Championship (CRZ)

Brescia, October 15, 2025 – While the Targa Florio Classica takes the spotlight, we’ll also be on the road supporting three major rally events — including the final, decisive round of the Italian Rally Championship (CIAR Sparco). From the southern coasts and Sardinia — where we’ll be working with the Rally di Taormina and Rally Terra Sarda — we’ll head north to Sanremo, the City of Flowers, for the 72nd edition of the iconic Rallye Sanremo.

Rally Taormina

From October 17 to 19, Taormina hosts the final act of the 9th Rally Zone Cup — a thrilling event on the scenic roads of Sicily’s Ionian coast, open to both modern and historic cars.

It all kicks off with something new: a night-time shakedown on Friday evening. Saturday brings the first three stages, including a Show Stage as the centerpiece of the day, before moving on to the evening stage “Scifi–Lumina” to close the opening leg. Sunday turns up the heat with six stages, featuring the return of the legendary “Alì” stage after ten years of absence.

With nine special stages in total — including Saturday’s SPS — the Rally di Taormina covers more than 350 km overall, with 63.05 timed kilometers tracked to the tenth of a second by Be Traced systems.

Rally Terra Sarda

From Sicily to Sardinia, we’ll be right there alongside the Rally Terra Sarda, organized by Scuderia Porto Cervo Racing.

Now in its 13th modern edition (and fifth for historic cars), the event features seven special stages adding up to 73 competitive kilometers across the roads of Ogliastra.

The rally’s bond with the island runs deep — from the names of the stages to the landscapes they celebrate. As the final round of the 10th Rally Zone Cup, it all kicks off on Saturday at 14:00 with the “TALANA–URZULEI 1”, followed by two more stages that day. Sunday wraps it up with four more, for a total of over 300 km including transfers.

Rallye Sanremo – Coppa dei Fiori

We’ll close the weekend in Sanremo, an event steeped in rally heritage. The 72nd Rallye Sanremo runs alongside the 39th Coppa dei Fiori (regularity race), the 40th Sanremo Rally Storico, and the 15th Sanremo Leggenda.

Autumn’s here, the leaves are falling — and with Sanremo, the fight for the Italian Rally Championship title reaches its climax. It’s going to be a long weekend: technical and sporting checks start today, Wednesday, followed by engines roaring to life on Friday with the start of the historic cars.

Historic crews will tackle eight stages on Friday and finish with three more on Saturday. Meanwhile, CIAR competitors will begin Saturday with the Super Show Stage “Porto Sole”, before heading into the first three proper tests. On Sunday, the championship contenders face eight final stages before heading back to Pian di Nave for the podium celebrations.

All told, the Sanremo competitors will cover over 400 km through the Ligurian hills — 118.43 km of timed action for the CIAR Sparco and 123.54 km for the Historic Rally. The Coppa dei Fiori regularity drivers will compete on the same routes as the historic rally, for about 90 competitive kilometers.

Be Traced on all three fronts

As always, we’ll be working simultaneously across all three events — plus the Targa Florio. Two more Rally Zone Cups and the CIAR Sparco grand finale will wrap up this weekend, marking one of the busiest and most decisive moments of the season.

In this mid-October weekend, we’ll be monitoring over 250 competitive kilometers, boosting safety and efficiency for organizers and race control alike.
