Monte Carlo, January 30, 2020 - The partnership between motorsport platform Argo Racing and Team Kessel Classic is renewed for the Rally Historic Monte-Carlo, the prestigious event reserved for cars that took part in the Rallyes Automobiles Monte-Carlo between 1911 and 1980.
Supporting the Kessel Classic Team
The innovative Argo Racing localization platform is assisting the Kessel team, winner of the competition last year, for the second year. The technology has proved indispensable in synchronizing the organization of the races, taking them to a level never before achieved.
All of the Swiss team's crews and support cars are equipped with the Argo Racing GPS tracker, a state-of-the-art device capable of operating autonomously, without direct connections to the cars' electrical system. The installations are carefully customized for each car, depending on its unique characteristics and the drivers' preferences.
The sports director can simultaneously track cars along the route on digitized maps and receive detailed, real-time information regarding environmental conditions, vehicles, and performance.
The plus? Fast and effective in-race assistance. Support vehicles can intervene promptly in case of car breakdowns or accidents, even where connectivity and communications are difficult. And, of course, each crew can instantly report dangerous situations or needs, for targeted and timely intervention actions.
