Brescia, July 29th, 2026 – Even at the height of summer, motorsport never slows down. And neither do the teams working behind the scenes to keep every event running safely and efficiently.
This weekend, the Be Traced team will support two rallies simultaneously. Our first stop is Alba, once again alongside the Italian Absolute Rally Championship (CIAR Sparco) for the Rally Regione Piemonte. At the same time, we will be operating in Campania, just a short distance from the Matese National Park, supporting the Rally del Matese.
Rally Regione Piemonte
Following the pivotal round at Rally di Roma Capitale, the Italian Absolute Rally Championship (CIAR Sparco) returns with the 20th Rally Regione Piemonte, the fifth and third-to-last round of the 2026 season.
The competition gets underway on Saturday morning with the opening CIAR Special Stage, "Borine – Cissone 1". Racing continues throughout the day until 7:00 pm, with competitors covering just over 87 competitive kilometres. Sunday features the remaining four Special Stages, bringing the CIAR route to a total of 143 timed kilometres.
The Rally Regione Piemonte also carries a second championship status, serving as the fourth round of the Zone Rally Cup – Zone 1. Competitors in this series will race exclusively on Saturday, tackling six stages, only partially shared with the CIAR route, for a total of just over 70 competitive kilometres.
As every year, the event is designed not only for rally enthusiasts, with a wide range of activities taking place throughout the weekend, but also to promote the local community and the Langhe region. Alba, the event headquarters and historic capital of the Langhe, once again takes centre stage.
Rally del Matese
From the rolling hills of Piedmont, we move south to Piedimonte Matese, in the Medio Volturno area, for the 11th Rally del Matese. The event begins on August 1st with a two-day programme based around the roads surrounding the rally headquarters. Saturday evening opens with the "Piedimonte Matese" Super Special Stage, setting the stage for the main competition.
On Sunday, the remaining nine Special Stages will be contested until late afternoon. Competitors will tackle "San Potito Sannitico", "Gioia Sannitica" and "Alife", each repeated three times and separated by scheduled regrouping sections.
With just over 72 competitive kilometres, the Rally del Matese offers a fast-paced format as part of the Zone Rally Cup – Zone 8, promising an exciting challenge and an adrenaline-filled weekend for every crew.
Be Traced: On the Stages and in Race Control
A total of 150 Be Traced tracking devices will be deployed throughout the weekend, operating both inside competitors' rally cars during the Special Stages and alongside event staff across the route. Every device will remain continuously connected to each event's Race Control, providing organisers with a constant stream of real-time data throughout the competitions.
Once again, the ability to accurately track every vehicle and every key member of the organisation plays a crucial role in both logistics and safety. This is especially important when supporting Italy's premier rally championship, which, after this weekend, will be just two rounds away from crowning the 2026 Italian Absolute Rally Champion.
