Brescia, 19 January 2026 - Our 2026 season starts exactly where it always does, among the roads of the Dolomites. In just a few days, the 38th Winter Marathon will hit the road, renewing a partnership that began back in 2020.
Race Program
As tradition dictates, the event will start from Madonna di Campiglio. A total of 129 crews are set to take the start and, once technical and sporting checks are completed, engines will fire up at 7:00 pm on Thursday 22 January for the first of the two scheduled legs. The opening leg runs in the evening, staying true to the event’s history, taking crews from Madonna di Campiglio to Ponte di Legno and back again, with a dinner stop planned at Passo del Tonale.
The second and longest leg gets underway early on Friday morning, heading towards Appiano, where the lunch break is scheduled. The afternoon marks the most demanding phase of the rally. From Passo Gardena, crews will continue on to Bolzano for dinner before returning once again to Madonna di Campiglio, with arrival expected at 11:15 pm. This will complete the 500 km route planned for the 38th edition.
The event does not end there. Saturday will feature the SPARCO Trophy, a renewed, non-competitive format designed for the public and all motorsport fans. It will take place in Piazza Righi in Madonna di Campiglio, ahead of the final dinner and the prize-giving ceremony scheduled for the evening.
