Brescia, June 4, 2025 – After an intense weekend dedicated almost entirely to rally racing, we're back in action for regularity events with the Coppa Liburna. It’s finally happening—after being postponed in March due to severe weather, the Coppa Liburna will officially take place this coming weekend. However, compared to the original plan, the route has been revised to fit a more compact format.
Let’s recap: the Coppa Liburna is a historic regularity trophy, revived in 2022 and now valid as the fourth round of the CIRAR (in the 50 category only). Teams will challenge each other along the scenic and winding roads of the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by a stunning landscape and—hopefully—a milder climate than in March.
The event has been scaled down and reformatted since the initial March schedule. This edition will feature a single leg with nine regularity tests (instead of the originally planned two legs and fifteen tests). As a result, the entire Coppa Liburna will take place on Saturday, June 7, with four average-speed tests: two will be repeated three times, one twice, and one will be run once. Essentially, competitors will race what was originally intended as the second day of competition, for a total of 58 km of timed sections within a 211 km route.
Running alongside the main event on the same course is the Coppa Liburna Eco Race, a regularity competition reserved for vehicles powered by alternative fuels and propulsion systems. While still awaiting official recognition as part of the Italian Alternative Energy Championship, this initiative represents a tangible step forward for motorsport towards a greener future.
We at Be Traced will be supporting the race management team on the ground, while our IoT tracking devices, developed in partnership with Fixup, will monitor competitors down to the tenth of a second throughout the timed sections.
Enjoy the Race!
