Brescia, June 8, 2026 – Less than 24 hours remain before the start of the 1000 Miglia 2026. Be Traced will be working behind the scenes and along the route, providing tracking services for all participating crews.

Our team has been on-site since yesterday, during the first day of sporting and technical scrutineering at the Brixia Forum Paddock, installing tracking devices on board the more than 500 vehicles expected to take part in this year’s edition.

As tradition dictates, the official start will take place on Tuesday. Once again, the Red Arrow will follow its iconic figure-eight route from Brescia to Rome and back, crossing some of the most breathtaking landscapes of Central Italy.

Alongside the historic cars competing in the 1000 Miglia, the route will also welcome the most legendary Ferrari vehicles, both classic and modern, as well as the supercars of the 1000 Miglia Gran Turismo Experience.

The format

The event begins, as always, in Brescia, the birthplace of the race and home to Be Traced headquarters. From there, competitors will head towards Val Trompia, where the first of eight Average Speed Trials will take place, before continuing through Salò, Vicenza, and Padua, the finishing location of the opening leg.

On day two, the route heads southwest towards Montecatini Terme. The following morning, crews will drive through Pisa before reaching Rome, concluding the third leg after passing through the iconic Piazza del Campo in Siena. The return journey begins on day four, crossing Terni, Gubbio, San Marino, and Rimini. The final stage then leads competitors back to Brescia, where the fifth and last leg will come to an end.

The 1000 Miglia remains a truly unique event, not only because of its prestige but also due to the distances involved. Historic cars will cover 1,994 kilometres, while participants in the Ferrari Tribute will tackle 1,911 kilometres

Technology and Safety

Gestire un evento dello spessore della Freccia Rossa, dal punto di vista logistico e di sicurezza, è una grande sfida.

Managing an event of the scale and complexity of the Red Arrow is a major logistical and safety challenge. Be Traced technologies provide a comprehensive monitoring system through constant communication between GPS devices and a dedicated web platform. Race Control will have access to a complete real-time overview of the event, including live vehicle positioning, passage time acquisition, and detailed reporting throughout the entire competition.

At the same time, the dedicated public platform will once again be available. Designed not only for fans, but also for staff members and media representatives along the route, it allows users to view the real-time location of participating vehicles directly from their mobile devices through a dedicated, shareable link.

The Public Platform is free to access and available from any internet-connected device by simply visiting: https://live.betraced.it

Enjoy the Race!
